Dental Associates came into being in 2007, as a result of the desire to provide high quality, advanced dentistry to the growing patient base of Auckland dentist, Dr Adrian Tan. A 1994 graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Otago. Adrian's approach to dentistry is one of meticulous and precise care, delivered in a smart, modern setting. Although a general dental practitioner, increasingly, Adrian's practice has shifted to that of an implant and reconstructive dentistry, with a special focus in implant assisted the reconstruction of smiles and bites. Starting with his first implant in 1998, Adrian now provides extensive implant treatment plans for his patients, and works closely with Oral Maxillofacial surgeons for more complex and advanced work. Adrian graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Merit), and whilst at university, he helped pay for his education by playing and teaching jazz piano. He's married to a fellow dentist, Sienna Pat, who runs her own practice on Auckland's North Shore, and together they have two little, demanding, children; and two little exhausted dogs.
